Bakgrunn

For the sixth year in a row, the prime minister and the right-wing leader are undoubtedly at the top. She is the country's most powerful regardless of gender. Solberg has led the minority government with FrP impressive support - and with great authority - for five years. During these years, she has not left insignificant traces of power behind.

Background

Erna Solberg (born February 24, 1961 in Bergen) has been Norway's prime minister since 2013, party leader in the Right since 2004 and elected to the Storting from Hordaland since 1989. She was municipal and regional minister from 2001 to 2005. Solberg graduated with an MSc. majoring in Sociology, Intermediate in Comparative Politics, Courses in Statistics and Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Bergen from 1986. She also holds a Master's Degree in Social Studies from the same University from 1988. Solberg has his entire professional experience from politics and organizational life, mainly with various positions and positions of trust in the Right. Among other things, she has been a member of several parliamentary committees. Solberg has been politically active since gymnastics, and joined the Young Right in 1978. Solberg is married to a business economist Sindre Finnes, who has previously been both employed and elected representative in the Right, and has two children with him. In 2005 Solberg was appointed commander of the Order of St. Olav.
